Cardio kickboxing is a blend of kickboxing and conditioning class all in one. Unlike traditional kickboxing classes, cardio kickboxing has very little emphasis on technique and sport application. The emphasis on the class is focused on burning calories and having fun while doing it. Plyometric exercises are done to get the heart rate up and to warm up the students. Once warmed up, our students will jump on the heavy bag and work on various combinations instructed by the instructor. Some combinations implemented will consist of using kicks, punches, knees, and elbows. Our class burns 800 to 1200 calories per hour of class.
